About Me

I love Pickleball! I learned about it 10 years ago, in 2014. Immediately became addicted like so many people do. I didn't have any sports background behind me so it took me a while to get good at it. My husband and I traveled for some tournaments, and had the honor of earning silver at 4.5 level. Now I'm interested in sharing the sport with others. I've made so many good friends and had some of the best memories of my life through Pickleball.

Teaching Style

I can teach children to seniors. I emphasized the importance of safety, shot selection, and placement over power. I structure my lessons with a greeting and warm up, working on the skills that the student that they say they are weak in (sometimes that's not true though, and we pivot), putting skills into a real game, and summarizing the lesson with optional homework when the student is in open play. At the end of the day it's just a sport so we also need to remember to laugh and have fun!
