About Me

I’m a 4.5 DUPR rated pickleball player, a 5 Star rated instructor with over 6 years of pickleball experience, and a Six Zero Pickleball ambassador. I’ve been fortunate enough to win numerous tournaments in the St. Louis area and medal in many others.
I really enjoy helping people understand the fundamentals of the game and working with them improve their skills.
I give lessons at various outdoor courts in the Metro East, IL area (Plummer Park, Glidden Park, Drost Park, Troy Park, etc), as well as indoors at The Rally Club in Glen Carbon, IL.

Teaching Style

My style is fairly well rounded in that I teach an aggressive serve, proper footwork and court positioning, we'll work on mechanics, proper resets from the transition zone, strategic drops and dinks. I'll tell you what most people do in certain situations, why it's typically the wrong approach, and then how to beat those players.
In early lessons we generally cover every aspect of the game so I have a general idea of the student's overall game, and maybe focusing on an area the student would like to focus on. Then as things progress, we spend more time during lessons on improving specific aspects of their game.
